Enterprise experience, working for growing businesses.
Tec-Titan Consultancy was founded in 2023 to give small and medium-sized businesses the standard of IT that large organisations take for granted: careful design, controlled change and clear documentation.
Who we are
Our work is rooted in more than ten years of enterprise network and infrastructure engineering, across hospital networks, schools, national logistics operations and hybrid cloud platforms.
We have seen what goes wrong when IT is rushed, undocumented or left to chance. So we work the way critical environments demand: nothing changes until it has been designed, tested and given a way back.
We work with SMEs in every sector, across the UK, on site where needed and remotely for everything else.
How we work
Design before change
Every project starts with a clear design and quote, so you know exactly what you are getting.
Always a way back
Every change comes with a tested rollback plan, so a problem never becomes an outage.
Documented properly
You own full documentation of your systems, so you are never locked in to us or anyone else.
Plain English
We explain risks and options in business terms, so you can make informed decisions.
A team that scales with your project
Every project is led by a Senior Technical Consultant who stays with it from the first conversation to handover. For larger projects, our team grows with specialist network, security, cloud and on-premise data centre engineers, so you get the capacity you need without paying for it when you don’t.
Our work is carried out in line with recognised standards:
Our track record.
Client names stay confidential. These are real projects, described by what was done and the difference it made.
A live hospital network upgraded with zero disruption.
Around 30 switches were replaced over three months, in two-hour overnight windows, on a network that clinical systems depend on. Every configuration was pre-staged and every failover path tested before cutover, with a rollback ready if anything failed to converge.
Frontline services and patient systems saw no disruption at any point, and the work met NHS digital security and data governance requirements.
Around 40 switches refreshed
A full switch refresh across a schools trust, bringing the network up to date for staff and pupils.
Hosting costs cut by more than 35%
The vendor said the learning platform could only run in AWS. The back end was rebuilt on in-house servers with Ansible and Red Hat, keeping AWS CloudFront and S3 for fast content delivery, with no loss of performance.
A multi-site network brought back in-house
An expensive managed service was replaced with a Cisco Meraki SD-WAN the business owns. Every site was scoped, designed and migrated, with monitoring and documentation to run it.
300+ users moved to Azure AD
Staff and core services moved from on-premises Active Directory to Azure AD with multi-factor authentication, so the team could work securely from anywhere.
Ransomware stopped at the edge
Sandboxing on the firewall and web proxy inspected unknown files in isolation, blocking several attempted ransomware attacks before they reached a single machine.
Recovery time down from hours to minutes
Backup and disaster recovery were redesigned on Veeam, with written runbooks and regular tests.
90-minute daily checks now take five
Manual switch and firewall health checks were automated with PowerShell, producing one daily report and ending missed alerts.
Web security across national sites
A high-availability web gateway cluster with data loss prevention policies to block unauthorised uploads of company data.
